• Amendments to association declaration and by-laws;
• Advising boards about condominium law and enforcement;

• Handling disputes among unit owners and board members;
• Resolving insurance disputes;
• Handling the association’s corporate matters; and
• Collecting assessments.
Our attorneys have handled complex condominium matters in state and federal courts, often involving new and emerging areas of the law. We also counsel associations and individuals on the types of routine matters that commonly arise in condominium communities. Whether your matter is small and simple or large and complex, we pride ourselves on providing cost effective and responsive service to our clients.
Following is an example of one case that we have handled:
Meister Successfully Asserts Claims against Condominium Developer On Behalf of His Client, a Condominium Association
Mr. Meister's extensive experience in condominium law recently came in handy when our client, a condominium association sought to enforce its rights against the developer of a condominium building. The developer failed to pay a number of bills that it was required to pay, failed to obtain proper permits for the condominium building and failed to make warranty repairs after receiving requests from the condominium association and various unit owners. Based upon Mr. Meister's work, our client was able to recover all amounts owed by the developer, together with all warranty work.
If you would like to find out more about our condominium practice and how we can provide assistance to your association, please give us a call and set up an appointment or stop by one of our regular open houses.
